TPMS compatability
Has anyone used the Denso 550-0103 TPMS?
Rock Auto lists it as for Japan built vehicles, other sites list it as compatible to USA vehicles.
Just looking for a success confirmation before I order.
2014 RX350.

I only suggest parts purchase when you do the job yourself. If you purchase the part and some one else does the rest of the work then in case of issues with the part, you have to pay for the work twice.

ps: I am for OEM sensors for all engine related stuff.

I definitely insist on top quality parts, OEM.
I'm in Canada, so Canadian dollars, the dealer wants 85$ each, I can get the Denso for 45$ each. Yes I have access to mount and balance my own wheels/tires.
As well I have the tool to read and register through the OBD port. I have summer and winter wheels so need to do this each time I swap wheels.
I'm installing new summer tires soon, so I figure it makes sense to install new TPMS now, the ones there are likely to run out of battery life before I wear out the new tires.
I agree on the Costco route, not sure which brand of sensor they supply, however I'm not a member.

One more thing to consider .... age of the sensor. Not sure how you will be able to determine that.

Rock auto has some great pricing and I would trust what they recommend. With that said you can aftermarket since that’s a basic sensor but at rock auto pricing Denso sounds like a great choice
