One of my first missions was to check for rubber hoses on oil cooler as car has towing pkg.. Metal replacement ordered.

There was one front shield underneath but it looks like there should be a second one under the oil pan. Is that true ? I haven't been able to find it on Lexus parts sites.



When I took off that shield, a rubber shield/cap sort of part fell down with it.
Anyone know where it goes ?

I found the splash shield and ordered it.

I tried to fit that rubber part a few places... it has a 5/8" hole about in the middle.

 

It does not look any piece I have noticed under my 2015 RX350.

 

Thanks. I looked around the top of the engine also and couldn't find a spot for it.

Tomorrow I'll try harder to find a number on it but today I only found EDPM which is a kind of rubber ??

 

That part goes to the engine cover near the pvc valve.
