Default Brake Fluid Reservoir Insert

Idiotic question, but anyone know how to remove the brake fluid insert inside the reservoir? I took this photo from a Highlander Brake Fluid thread, but the insert is the same on this 2013 RX350. I remember reading somewhere that you could use needle nose pliers and twist it to the left to lift it out; however, that doesn't seem to work.

Why do you want to remove the strainer? Can't tell by the picture how it is secured.

Just trying to make the process of changing out the old with new brake fluid faster by siphoning out the reservoir first. Thanks, that link to the part helps. I'll try getting a pick to lift the tabs first and then try to rotate ccw

Your picture shows the lip under the tab on the side. With a clean small flat screw driver, just push the tab to the side and pull the strainer out.
