Default Multiple unrelated warning messages

While driving, the left turn signal started to flash erratically. A little while later I got AWD malfunction warning messages including overheat and lockout. Still later there were ABS malfunction messages and ABS disable. I had been driving through some rain just prior to the signal light issue.
got home and checked all wiring under the hood. I thought maybe the squirrels had been eating my wiring again, but it all looked ok. The code scanner showed the RR ABS sensor failure but no other codes.
2 days later everything returned to normal!!
Sure seems to be related to water causing some random error messages, but now I have to find where the water could have entered.
anyone encountered something like this?
thx
Jim

I would start by making sure the battery terminals are clean and secure. If possible have the charging system checked for free.

Next would be to look for water intrusion .. specially down the the driver side front area. Take out the carpets to ensure everything is bone dry.

As Salim said, look for wet front carpets, check the glove box etc.
If wet:
Check for clogged sunroof drains, especially the front ones as they are easier to access and more likely to wreck electronics. There are a few threads on cleaning them and several youtube videos. FYI it is the same method to clean them on almost every vehicle, so youtube really is helpfull.
So inspect the sunroof area for debris.
I like to shove weed wacker line down the holes, which are in the front corners of the sunroof and exit somewhere below the car, but run through parts of the interior and can overflow if clogged with leaves or dirt.
Some shops just use their industrial air compressors to blow out the lines.

Yep, clear the sunroof drains. When they clog up they can send water down the inside of the A-pillars, soaking some of the electronic components in the process, and then the ECM can begin throwing various spurious codes. Once the water dries sufficiently, the spurious codes magically disappear. Clear your drains and dry your front carpet areas with a hair dryer, including the areas up underneath the dashboard.

Thanks for the suggestions. The drivers side front drain was blocked. Ran a snake down the tube and all clear now! Lots of electrical connectors in the drivers kickpanel that would not be happy if they got wet!!
