Default Water Intrusion

I'm getting frustrated trying to find the source of my water intrusion. Sunroof drains have all been checked and cleared. Silicon on the bulkhead just below the windshield (in & out) until I can get a new one. And there's still water getting in. Had wet carpets after this last rain...

Thanks Mattrx. I had the headliner out (had to replace sunroof). ran a poly line down them and chased that with air. Last time the puddle was on top of the door sill outward of the split loom. I didn't get a picture. Not really even sure I have to post count to be able to upload pics yet.

Love the car and we've had it since new. Presently I'm the only family member who hasn't given up on the ol' girl...

250249; bought it new at 5 miles on the odometer. Just finished changing the oil putting in a new air filter. I'm going to start a new thread for the water intrusion. Never meant to hi-jack this mileage thread.

So I've still got the leaking issue. I don't believe it's coming from the sunroof drains... I've caulked around the bottom of the windshield until I get get new parts. As previously mentioned I cleaned the drains (removed rocker trim and inner wheel liners). Chased the drain lines with weed trimmer line and air. The trim at the top of the 'B' pillar was dry. Here's what I've got:

Any thoughts on where it's coming from and best way to stop it? On a better note I made the 90+ mile round trip commute today and the VSC light staid off; I'm calling it progress.

Heater core is good, ac drain is fine. This only happens during rain or cash wash. Thanks for looking though!!

To eliminate the roof drains open the roof get someone to pour water slowly around each drain holes and watch the flow to the floor and out on the ground...same goes for the windscreen spray water the top seal...you sit inside doors closed and watch for any water....and not forgetting the door seals spray them as well...

Hey UK, spraying the Windshield is on the list, I just hate to remove the carpet again but that's where we're headed... car is my daily and I have a 80-90 mile round trip commute.

When I replaced the sunroof I did poor a measured amount of water down each front drain. Captured the volume underneath and did all of that before replacing the carpet. No wet floors during all of that.

Those pics were taken Sunday afternoon during a break between some heavy rains we were having... once we get some better weather I guess i'll pull the carpet, leave the passenger seat out so that I can lay in the floor and see if I can get a better read on where it's coming from.

I take it, its on the passenger side? & its not coming from the sunroof? I'd be looking at the cowl.

Back floor initially got wet prior to clearing sunroof drains and replacing sunroof. Now it's only the passenger side and yes, I recently caulked the cowl just under the windshield until I can get new parts and seals for that.

But i've still got water coming in... It appears to be on the right hand side near the "kick" plate. I'm going to try soaking everything down this afternoon if I can finish up my other chores... i'll be back in touch soon.

I really don't believe it's the sunroof drains as I poured water down those and everything seemed to be fine... I guess it's possible that they're overwhelmed but I believe its more related to the cowl and or other seams... maybe the door seals...

I noticed the metal cowl under the windscreen when i replaced my spark plugs, it had the felt type strip on the top edge where it mounts to the bulkhead, any water running down windscreen ends up in the lower part of the cowl.... i forgot to look when i installed it, is there a drain hole in the bottom
