Default RX400h lock actuator still not working

2008 400h, my driver door lock stopped working via key fob or switch.
I got around to taking it all apart and replacing the motor with the ebay part I saw linked in another thread.
10mm Flat Shaft FC-280PC-22125 Door Lock Motor - Repair Actuator Toyota Lexus D | eBay

After the motor replacement, it still doesn't work.
I checked all the linkages, physically locking/unlocking with the key, or pressing the lock lever on top of the handle, and that part works.
It just seems like electronically, on the driver side door, it is still dead. The lock switch still locks/unlocks all the other doors.
Are there other things I should be looking at? Fuses? Wiring? Try a different brand of motor? Replace the entire actuator?
Thanks!

Put a test light on the actuator see if it gets power when you hit the door lock/unlock.

Actually before having to take things apart once again, I ran voltage through the motor I removed, and of course it works fine.
So, I guess I have some electrical digging to do...

Wires going from the door to the A-pillar (flexy part) could be broken it's a common problem.
