RX350 with noisy torque converter?
There’s an RX350 for sale with a noisy torque converter. It has about 240k miles and it’s priced about $4500.
Is this something that can be fixed affordably? I’d love to get into the 3.5 RX, but I don’t know anything about this problem.
Any thoughts?

We get cars like that down here on craigslist every now and then, "Just needs a $100 headgasket."
How about the rest of the car- paint damage, interior, exterior, rust, etc?
Many of the ones I looked at have tires wore to the tread bar, 4 new tires will be another $700.
