Changed Driver CV axle, where to put fluid
Hello guys, new to this forum. I have FWD only 2007 RX350 and I changed the driver side CV axle yesterday. When I pulled the axle out, a lot of dark fluid came out. I have replaced the axle, but cannot find where to replace this fluid. I checkd the ATF on the dipstick and it is perfect. I looked, but could not find anything that I felt was fill plug. Any help with information about replacing this fluid would be appreciated. THank you.

So, on FWD, when you pull an axle, any leakage will be ATF, since it is a transaxle, so no separate diff. On mine, and many others, the ATF seems filled high at factory, but is temperature sensitive. The way to add ATF, is through the tranny dipstick tube, use a small funnel. A small amount of fluid can look like a big leak, so add a bit at a time....
