could one or both lower control arms wearing out be to blame for this?

well actually; i think i found out my issue. yesterday i went to have my tires looked and and possibly rebalanced only to find out the outter edge of one of my right front tire was totally dug in and so i definitely think if i replace the tire which i intend on getting done that it hopefully will solve the vibration issue.

Do you have pics?
A bad or defective tire can be annoying when trying to figure out a vibration especially when they are newer since most people assume it can't be the tire.

sorry no pics of the old one; but i can safely tell ya the outer edge was totally and completely worn all the way around and u could see that it probably was most likely the cause of my vibration in the steering wheel at 65 and above. Now, tomorrow im going to get a alignment done cause im just about positive I need to get that done as when i let go of the steering wheel very briefly; it starts going to the right little by little.

Ask them to check your suspension first, otherwise, it will be a waste of money (alignment + tires).

yes i will. I thought i had them check it before but i will have them double check it to make sure nothing other than the partially torn bushing is out of the norm.

well as it turns out; the "toe" on my front end was slightly off(but it was so little and took so little effort to fix he didnt even charge for it); and for another it turns out i was still having a pulsing of the brakes when slowing down and coming to a stop; so the excellent manager of local indy shop down the street test drove it; now he said he didnt feel anything; but; his tech that was working on my rx did!; so the manager is warrantying the front and is putting all new pads and rotors on the front; but that wont happen til saturday or next monday as he had to order the new stuff i needed. now hopefully after all this is taken care of these vibration issues will be gone(hopefully)
