Just bought a 2008 RX 350 4 days ago and went to get in it today but the parking / emergency brake is stuck. It won't disengage. It did snow today a bit, is that an issue? This is extremely frustrating. Has anyone dealt with this? Is this a thing? Please help!

 

I'd for sure have the dealer fix this before you take it. Sounds to me a cable issue. I just bought a '07 a 5-6 weeks ago & this is the 1st vehicle that I've had that has a drum brake as a parking brake, vs disc/drums that also are the parking brake. btw I'd also swap out the rubber oil cooler hoses for metal ones if it wasn't done as well as the rear bank oil line.
