I recently bought RX400h, 2008 and fully happy with it. One minor but important finding is that left back door child lock is stuck at locked position? I applied fairly strong pressure to lift it up (unlock) with no success. Right door child lock work smooth.

What could be the reason why left door child lock is stuck? Any remedy?

Try spraying some wd40 in the mechanism in case it's seized up. Otherwise, not much else you can do other than take it apart or force it.
