RX330 Radio comes on after 30+ mins...
 

My 2004 RX330 has a radio delay – the radio lights up but it doesn't play audio until usually after about a half hour or so. When it does come on, it sounds and works fine.
This all started before I changed the old main battery which was low on power. I thought it would be fixed after the new battery was installed. It's a Levinson stereo. Any thoughts?

it could be a bad connection or it could be a failing radio head unit or amp. When you say it 'lights up', do you mean it turns on, you can select radio stations, etc, but it doesn't produce sound? That could be an issue with the mark levinson amplifier.

To me it sounds like the amplifier is having issues then. I believe the mark Levinson system has a unique Amp. I will see if I can dig up some diagrams to help test it.
