149000 mile checkup

seems like when i hit 149000 miles on rx330 that there is a ding alarm and dome light flashes. What is going on? A routine maintenance check? how do I cancel it?

dome light flashes only when it dings? Never heard of that. Unless there is some indicator on the dash to go with the ding, it is not a maintenance reminder.

I had no issue on my RX330 when I reached the 149-150k mile mark.

Maybe you didn't completely close your door, or you left the rear power hatch slightly open, which would have triggered an alarm and flashing warning.
