RX330 Blowing Hot on Passenger and Cold on Driver
Out of the blue, when set on HEAT, I get hot air from the Passenger side and Cold on the Driver's side.
Anybody has seen this happen?
I did a quick battery terminal reset and it did not change the hot-cold issue.
TIA for suggestions. It is getting cold and I will freeze my behind if I do not get this resolved.
Could it be the temperature controller (dual temp setting)? The mixing valve?

Simple stuff first. You do have Dual set to hot on your side? Or, turned off completely so both are supposed to be same temp? I know, I know yet... goofy mistakes I have done...
Otherwise, yes. Most likely climate control got monkey brain.

Yup, had to switch to Dual otherwise I will freeze...and shut off the vent on the DR side. When it rains, that's the issue, I need to turn on the AC to get the fog out...

I need to do longer battery off to attempt a re-set. Yesterday I did a quick battery terminal un-hook, so quick it did not do anything. This weekend I will do a longer one. With the temps being in the low 40's and damp, it is feeking cold!

I don't like disconnecting batteries. I prefer fuses. Works as well and does not leave behind goof lights flashing. Locate your climate control and whatever else relevant fuses and pull them out.

I will try that too.
However I started to have this tranny hunting issue (could be related to overfilling the tranny fluid - another story) and I will really like to reset the ECU all together. So that's what I will do 1st.

I will check around this weekend, I will remove the panels and take a look. There has been a few posts that show the component that could be defective.

Ok, I forgot to mention that a week ago i ran the RX to warm it up and I ended up letting it run for an hour. The engine bay was hot when I finally turned it off. This No heat situation happened after that incident! The wife was so upset at me. I actually fell asleep and forgot about the car running in the garage. I wanted to bang my head to teh wall.

It is winter time and I freeze ma *** due to no heat on PASS side. Hence I do not us RX on winter months. But have no choice to use it if we are hauling people and stuff.
