2005 RX330 ABS, and other lights come on
I just had my car checked today at a dealer and had codes c1223 c1249 and c2106 due to failed stop light switch.
Please note the dealer replaced the switch at NO CHARGE as they told me is under warranty.

Sorry, the dealer told you it was still under warranty, or that it was covered because it was a known problem? Is your 2005 still under warranty? I am also getting C1223 and C1249

Good morning
My car is out of warranty.
The "stop switch" is the unit under warranty for what I understand it was a known problem
for which I wasn't charged neither for it nor for labor.
Probably there was a non mandatory recall prior to the time I became 2nd owner of this vehicle. That is unit will be replaced at any time if failed.
Regards

No dealer help
stopped by local Sainte Julie dealer for first time today. Service person was forst person to speak to me so I explained codes and problem and asked about switch replacement. She promptly informed me they could attsch their computer for ~$135 /hour, but replacing switch was mot covered in any way. I proceeded to parts department. I have the ABS, VUS, Low tire Christmas tree appearing and disappearing randomly with the codes C1223 & C1249. Brake lights work though and I am wondering after reading another thread here that is the brake lights work it is not a problem with the switch, but more likely a wheel speed sensor. Anybody have any experience knowledge or educated opinion on this?
