cracked dash
is there a wood grain or aluminum piece that you can buy to cover the cracked dash area above the glove box?

Be careful what you put there, the passenger airbag resides somewhere between the glovebox and windshield,

This, there are some cloth covers on ebay that you can place on top of the dash that won't interfere with the airbag deployment.

This as well, a few years ago my dash started turning shiny and looked like the surface had melted.
Lexus replaced it for free under the dash replacement recall even though my RX was about 10 years old at the time.
