Default Brake troubles on Rear Passenger

While driving home the other day, I suddenly heard a dragging sound and my car (2004 RX330) felt like it was moving through mud. Luckily, I was a block amd a half away from my drive. Get home and look around and under the car, nothing. I did notice there was a lot of dark dust on my rear passenger wheel. Upon further inspection, the brake rotor/disc had a small band of grooves and was extremely hot to the touch. What could have caused this? What is the fix for it?

Sounds like stuck caliper pins or .stuck caliper pistons, or stuck brake pads due to rust.

You'd have to take off the wheels to determine what is stuck.

It was indeed a seized caliper pin. Little bit of work and grease and it seems all is well again. Thanks!
