2005 RX330 (body color is 6T1, which is darker than door handles)

Known paint defect on the earlier RX330’s, especially on the 6T1, Bamboo Pearl. I had my door handles changed and the trim above the plate replaced on warranty. As well as my side mirrors, due to paint mis-match. They all faded. The 1st Generation RX330 has a lot of start-up issues in Canada, of which paint was one of them. The 2nd set of door handles eventually faded too. So I bought Chrome covers, problem solved. The Side mirrors held up. The Plate trim did not. But somebody hit me in the back, so they are all good now.

Thank you again, did not know this fix existed, and available on Amazon very reasonably.

They do lasts too. The chrome does not fade.

Although, I lost one small cover (that goes into the lock, probably when they had my car washed at the paint shop), so I had to buy a new set to get it replaced. So now I have spares.
