2008 RX350 - Where to connect the black jumper cable in the dead battery car?

Hello,

It looks like my 2008 lexus rx350 batteries charger got drained out. I would like to jump start the car with a jumper cable. I haven't done this before, so I saw some videos and as per the last step of connecting the cables, I have to connect the black -ve cable in the car with bad battery to the ground. They suggested to connect to some sturdy metal parts with no paint in it. They also mentioned that it shouldn't be close to the alternator etc. I'm not sure where to connect this -ve terminal. Can you please suggest where I should connect? If there is any picture that would be great. thanks a lot for your help,

A good spot to connect the black jumper cable to is on the engine. Remove the plastic engine cover (it just pulls up and off) and connect the cable to the spot marked in the attached photo.

I have used the same exact spot. There are not a lot of options around the engine bay. Most metals are painted.

Thank you so much. I shall try this out in the evening.
