Looking for replacement side mirror for 2009 RX350 - questions
I need to replace a broken passenger side mirror for a 2009 RX350. The OEM mirror has dimming, heat, memory. I am looking online and the only aftermarkets i can see only has heat and memory. Will these ones work? would it use the same connectors?
Also the car is a "made in Japan" version sold for the Canadian market if it makes any difference vs the North American made one.

Use MyLparts.com to check which you need, looks like all manufacturing origins use the same mirror in this case and same connector. Some have said they don't ship to Canada but its at least a good tool to make sure you're getting the correct part as it uses VIN verification.

As BlackLexRX mentioned MyLparts.com is an excellent website for researching the part numbers according to the where the RX was manufactured....
although they will not ship to Canada.
Once you have the correct part numbers try http://www.lexuspartsdirect.ca/ the prices are in Canadian Dollars.
If you are going the aftermarket route, make sure the cross reference number in the description matches the OEM part number from MyLparts.com.

The aftermarket part numbers don't seem to reference to the OEM. I've looked everywhere and not a single afermarket i can find that supports the auto dimming feature. I am still trying to figure out with the aftermarket with memory has the same connector or not.

I would assume they have the same connector, although some may be missing a connection within the connector, this will affect the feature that particular connection is associated with.

Personally I'd use an OE mirror. However, the whole assembly is $460 on MyLparts. One nice thing is you can order the factory color. Here's an aftermarket one for $170, that has factory connection and fit, memory, heat, fold, etc- everything you need...its only offered in black though.

Especially if it's Crystal Pearl White (062) it's a Tri-color paint (base + pearl + clear = 3 different layers) is an expensive paint to fabricate & work with as a DIY.
Most likely for any color, the older paint color on the vehicle in comparison to new paint (on the mirror) will be slightly off anyway.
If you can live with that, you should save some $$$$ with aftermarket.

Is used and option in Canada? I haven't bought one for my RX (yet.....) but I have for my old camry, highlander, and a Honda Odyssey from junk yards and recyclers. Cost next to nothing and with paint was cheaper than aftermarket. But none these were heated or dimming so Lexus may pull a slightly higher premium.
