Question adaptive front lighting system

I just bought an RX330 (FWD) with Nav/ML and RES. Is the adaptive front lighting an upgrade? The location for the button (as indicated in the manual) is black boxed (i.e., the button is not there).

I think you have to get the performance package to get the lights. At least thats the way it is in Minnesota. If you get performace, though, you cannot get ML and RES. Weird. I'd like them all. My dealership is having a tough time finding one with RES and ML in the color I want. You would think Lexus would love to sell these. They are getting very few "loaded" cars.

Oops, I just noticed you are talking FWD. Everything I said related to AWD.

You must get the performance package to get the AFL. Same deal with fwd or awd. The performance package is probably the best option that they have. Skip

Thanks. I just wanted to be certain.

I know that dynamic cruise control has been discussed in previous threads. Some are saying it is available. This is considered a $600 option for my package (listed above) and is not included on mine. For those not having this option included (when it was supposed to be there), was your starting point for MSRP actually MSRP - $600? In other words, are the dealers knocking off $600 if the dynamic cruise control is supposed to be there and it is not?

Disregard my last post. I checked the paperwork and the price was discounted to account for not including the dynamic cruise control.

by the way - this has got to be one of the cooooolest features on my new RX330. Nothing seems to impress my passengers more than a little evening drive when I sway the steering wheel from left to right and they witness the headlights swaying right along.....
