Hello All,

I have my 2004 Lexus RX330 at Lexus Dealer for Dashboard replacement. I asked for a quote from them to replace evaporator and Dealer told it costs $1800 as opposed to $2200.

I was told by previous mechanic that major cost of evaporator replacement is because of dashboard removal. I'm confused now if the quote from Lexus Dealer is realistic or are they trying to rip me off. Please share your valuable opinion on my situation.
