Default Bought another RX330!

Love this car so much I got another one. :-)
Problem with this one is the Spoiler has serious sun damage.
Anyone ever vinyl wrap it?
Also the mirror base seems to be peeling

Also there was a campaign for the headlight replacement due to moisture.
It has now expired and 1800 lexus states that they can "put in a claim" and see if it gets paid for.
Has anyone gone this route with any success?

Also seems like March 2017 is the last month to get on the list for the dash replacements.
Also looks like its about 1 year out for me for my dash to come in.

Personally I would remove the Spoiler & repaint it to try to keep the vehicle as original as possible....
you can even get creative & paint the Spoiler to match the color of the SUV itself if the Spoiler is black in color although I would leave the bottom portion black to avoid nasty reflections.
The mirror could be a challenge if you do not remove it to repaint.
I do not think I would take a chance on "put in a claim" you may be stuck with a heavy repair bill if the claim is refused.

I sealed my headlights with silicone. It seems to be mostly holding up. I might have to take them out again to seal the HID ballast compartment at some point. I'm still noticing a small amount of moisture from time to time, but nothing like it was.

As for the dash, I'm debating if I really have the time to even attempt to mess with the dealer about it, considering it's over an hour away. I might just buy a cheap dash cover and call it a day.

How about a nice purple **** carpet for the dash as they did in the late 60's & 70's?
I have actually seen the entire (exterior) body of some cars done up in **** carpet during that period of time, must have been a real bummer when it rained or snowed.
Also imagine it was a little tricky & extra work to vacuum for a clean look.
Added a photo from 1973 for the description of the carpet...
