Default RX350 2007 key and remote problem

This is about a key that has been working perfectly but not anymore.
What happens is:
(1) When I turn the engine off and remove the key, and then open the door, it starts chiming. (Moonroof is closed).
(2) The key remote does not lock nor unlock the doors. The "panic" does work though. The LED on the remote lights up, the battery is new.
(3) Opening/closing the driver's door with the key manually opens/closes the other doors as it should.
(4) The stirring column that used to fold/unfold automatically does not do it anymore. (The manual **** does work though.)
(5) The button that is supposed to open the rear door doesn't work anymore.
All the above started occurring at the same time. I don't know what might have happen (if anything) to cause it all - I wasn't driving the car at the time.
What am I to do?...

It sounds like the car thinks the key is still in the ignition cylinder. Try lubricating the lock. My service advisor recommends a little WD40 on the key and work it in and out a few times.

Didn't work, unfortunately. Could it be that there was one fuse or a relay somehow affecting all that?
