Default 07 RX 350 with C1201 P0430 codes

My RX 350 is showing C1201 and P0430 codes with the check engine light and VSC light on. I know the P0430 code points to the o2 sensor bank 2, and a lot of people seem to think that it is usually the cat causing the problem but my car only has 64k miles on it. This makes me think it would be more likely to be a sensor than the cat, but I wanted to get others opinions who I'm sure have more experience with this than me. I have already bought an o2 sensor from auto parts store, and it is the type that has to be spliced into the old wire, so I want to see what others think before I cut wires and try to put it back together. Any ideas?

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but never use a universal O2 sensor. They might be ok in an old Chevy or Ford, but imports have higher tolerances that universals just won't meet.
