Can't get Tire Warning Light off
Almost 2 weeks ago my tire warning light came on. I checked my tires. One was slightly low, so I added air. The light remained on. A week ago I brought the 09 RX350 to my mechanic for a general service. They told me that the tires were fine but the light would not go out. They said it would cost $95 for a computer diagnosis, then $350 to change the sensors if that is the problem. Actually I am planning to sell soon and did not feel like putting in another $450 for a sensor. Is there anything else it could be? I have found the tire light button and have tried to use that to deactivate. I have found the pressure valve button under the glove compartment and that has helped either. I just need to get that light off.

Since pressing the buttons didn't work, you are going to have to get the tps system scanned to isolate the problem. You might have a bad wheel receiver or you might have a bad valve stem transmitter.
If you are willing to do a lot of work, take the spare tire, make sure it is inflated properly and then put it on a wheel, pressing the reset button to see if the warning goes off. Do this for all 4 wheels. If the warning goes off, then the tire that you removed has a bad valve stem. If the the warning never goes away, then it is probably a bad wheel receiver.
You could take the car to a tire shop such as Goodyear or Firestone and have them look at it. They do this kind of thing all the time. They will probably charge less than the dealer.

In addition to the tips above... The glove box button is for a second set of sensors. If you left that in the "2nd" position then you won't get the light to go off. Doublecheck that you left it in the main position.
I had a sensor go bad around 80k miles in my 2007. Replaced the one and it was good to go.

I agree, that's what happened to me. I lowered the spare, topped it off with air to bring it to 30 PSI. The light went out immediately. I wouldn't do anything without confirming the spare has enough air to match the other tires.
