Default Recent accident: Question about the front bumper and under area.

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and new to owning a Lexus as well. I don't wanna bore with a long story so I'll make it quick. I bought a 2009 Lexus RX-350 about 3 weeks ago. 3 Days after purchase someone left me with a caved in bumper in a restaurant parking lot. Had full insurance so insurance agreed to cover. The price they quoted me only covered after-market parts but with solid enough body work it probably shouldn't have made a difference. The work done was questionable at best however. The Lamp Sprayers both fell out a couple days after getting it back from the shop and looking at the under belly, there's a fluid line exposed and the plastic frame was either cut or (broken off?). I have a few pictures for reference. I'm not sure what the front should look like under the bumper (I've never really thoroughly examined the bottom and I can't find any good pictures online to compare) but it definitely looks like there's something missing. I'm going back to the shop tomorrow and they're going to fix the lamp sprayers, but they might be in for more than they bargained for. The lines don't work period. I think this shop might have taken on a job that they do not have the knowledge to perform. The new fog lamp they put in wiggles around as well.

If anyone has any opinion or notices anything more that I'm missing I'd be grateful to hear from you. I'm trying to make sure I understand everything that is wrong with it. I was under the impression that the car should be back to almost new condition after repairs. There's very slight misalignment in the body (which I can accept) but everything else should function as it did before I'd think.

Thanks again for any help!

I don't know what insurance you have but see if they guarantee the fix. Someone keyed my car and my insurance covered it and also guaranteed the repair as long as I own the car. I would start there and let them know that the body shop did a crap job of repairing it.

The insurance didn't replace the guard? You should've took a picture of the accident. I have an 09 too. I'll take some pictures of my front for you to compare.

If you can still convince your insurance to allow you to bring the car to a Lexus body shop, that would be better. Otherwise, keep going to the shop until they fix it. Then lesson learned, only bring it to a Lexus dealer body shop next time.
