Smile It's Here

Picked up the RX 330 with NAV yesterday. First Lexus I've ever owned. Should have bought a Lexus years ago. Already love it! Have a question for Lexus experts. The car has the rain-sensing wipers (control bok located just behind and above rear-view mirror. If I tap the box accidentally (or on purpose), the wipers swipe the windshield. Dealer says this is normal???

Thanks,
Steve

Congratulations on your purchase! Tell us a little about your new member of the family (color, options, etc.) I also am a first time Lexus buyer and am very impressed with their product.

Flint330,
It's Crystal White with Ivory leather. Has NAV/Premium Plus/Heated Seats/Rain Sensing Wipers/18" tires w/graphite polished wheels. Had to pay full list price, but I love it. Still trying to learn all of the switches, buttons, features, etc.

I've noticed that as well. Infact, when I use the garage door opener, it swips the wipers (twice, on a delay). Sometimes when I open the sunroof it also swips the wipers.

I'm going to report it at my 1000 miles (300 to go), but I suppect they will say that it's normal.

BTW: Congrats on your new ride. It's my first Lexus also...

John
