2004 rx 330
I have a 2004 RX 330 awd and the transfer case locked up and throw out the rear axle. The car drives and transmission is working. I remove the rear drive shaft . Can I run the car as a front wheel drive car ? Thanks for your help
It seems to me that you would lose oil from the drive shaft being out of the transfer case. I'm sure you aren't worried about that. I would expect the car to throw some type of code for that problem. At least Traction Control.

Do you think the trans will work ok? I filled the case with oil and removed the rear part of the driveshaft and removed both rear axles.

Ok it worked for 2 miles , so it going to need a transmission for sure.
2004 RX330 AWD 167K runs great , new tires, selling for $1800.00 will need transmission if anybody is looking for one. 209-890-73two8
