Default Side by side OEM vs Curt hitch comparison

Would anyone have pics, trying to compare the two hitches.

It may look as if the Curt hitch does not have a place to attach the harness plug...

You can see photos and a video of the Curt Class III hitch for the 2005 RX330 at http://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitc...eid=2005302949

The Lexus hitch looks way better to me.

I haven't seen a hitch with the 4-pin plug attached to it. Only 7-pins.
I just close the rubber cover for the harness around the hitch loop used to attach chains.
That makes it nice and tidy.

My install is needed for functional use so can't use the space reserved for chains. Do not really want the harness be dangling around but want it neat like on the OEM tow hitch for our 2005 RX.

Can anyone point me to pictures of OEM and Curt hitch setup on 3rd gen RX?

Did you know that the OEM hitch costs about 3 times the price of the Curt hitch.
Just use Google and search 2011 Lexus RX 350 OEM trailer hitch and click on images. There are many photos online. I do not see any real difference that is worth the extra expense .

I recommend this. Just got mine two days ago and it fits perfectly. I don't have connectors hooked up but it's nice knowing the pocket is there if I do need it later on.

That's a good tip. I need to replace my 4-pin connector now due to corrosion. Good thing Lexus made it easy by having another harness in place under the bumper on the left side.
