Default Sounds like a diesel when started

We bought a 09 RX 350 that is a CPO, currently has 75 K on it. When the engine is first started it rattles like crazy and sounds like a diesel while the motor is at idle Once the car warms up it sounds fine.. The dealer tells me this is normal. Last oil change switched to full synthetic and it still rattles at start up. Any thoughts or suggestions from other owners?

I purchased my '08 RX350 from a dealer in Omaha in late January and had it shipped, I live in Minnesota. It was a cold winter -10 to -20 below zero. I'm sure the previous owner did not use synthetic oil because it clattered like crazy at cold start up and I mean it was loud. First thing I did was switch to synthetic oil which helped alot. Then I read up on Lubeguard on Bob Is The Oil Guy website and tried it. Couldn't believe how much more quiet it was. Sold for life on Lubeguard. Mine was noisy only on cold starts.
