That seems odd as all 3 each have their own fuse. When you say 3 you are talking front of shifter, below shifter and hatch right? You sure your charger is good?

I am having the same problem with the 2005 RX 330 I just purchased. If the power outlet locations are the same as mine, there is one just above the shifter on the dash, one in the floor tray under the center dash and one in the trunk. I think the main culprit for me is the outlet in the trunk. I checked the two fuses for the outlets in the fuse box under the dash/steering wheel and both were blown (is there one also under the hood for the back?). I replaced the fuses and both front outlets worked fine. I then went to the trunk and tested that one. After providing power for a few seconds, it stopped and I found the fuse for the outlet in the bottom tray was blown again! So something else to get fixed. If you do replace the fuses yourself (which is quite easy), the lid of the fusebox under the hood should have spare fuses and a fuse pulling tool for removing the fuses. IMPORTANT: make sure you get the correct fuses as there are several different ones in my RX 330 (they can't make it easy). The fuses in the box under the dash are the "mini low profile flange" type. It's probably easiest to just take the blown fuse that you are replacing with you to the auto parts store for comparison. Good luck.

Chargers are good. Checked the fuses but hard to tell if they are blown per the manual. Possible they blew as power outlets could not handle charging a phone and playing a personal DVD player.

Um, a BTDT on a 99 RX300 and 98 GS400:

I've had to disassemble the actual receptacles and replace a redundant "fuse" washer that failed under 7 Amp+ use. It might be on a thread on one of those forums. A freebie Harbor Ft. DVM is worth what you pay for it in diagnosing. Agree that checking regular fuses is good first step....

Default Thanks

Mechanic found blown fuse. Blamed it on a faulty car phone charger...which works fine in 2 other cars. Replaced the fuses and bought a cheap, new phone charger. So far, so good.

Sometimes a penny will fall into the cig lighter and blow the fuse. I have seen it happen many times.
