I recently noticed that on my 2007 RX350 AWD, the spare tire carrier the lover cover was missing. I suspected that it was lost by my Lexus dealership service shop. I requested them to replace it but they insisted that I pay for it. They quoted me price of $175.00. This part is like a Frisbee disk and should not cost more than $10.00. Sewell has one for $143. I checked on ebay and found one for $101.00. Still a lot of money. I checked with a car dismantler (junkyard) but no luck. The Lexus OEM part# is 519380E010. Any suggestions were I can get this part for a reasonable price?

Thanks kickin8 for your suggestion. I called them... they will sell me only the entire thing, wheel carrier and lower cover for $250. I need only the lower cover. I'll have to keep locking.

I seen this one on ebay. The only other thing I can think of is to check the junk yards that are on ebay, and try to contact them to see if they would sell it for a lower price.

Thank you 1koolfella. From the picture I sense that this is the rim carrier which I have. The only thing I am missing is the cover that fits and locks onto the rim carrier. The cover is intended to prevent the dirt from getting into the rim carrier. It looks like a Frisbee disk. I'll keep locking. Thank you again.
