I have the original alenzas too and have had them for years. They are a good tire. The only complaint I have is that they are a little louder than I would like for the Lexus, but that wasn't enough to keep me from buying them again. In my opinion, the OEM michelins were an ok tire at a steep price (but they were quiet). I don't have any experience with the pirellis.
Like RX330inFL was saying, I am pretty sure you are the first member with the Alenza Plus. Please keep us updated about them.

I always go with Michelin. Found them to be quieter than others and they handle better in rain. Just a bit more expensive upfront but amortize it over 5 years and the difference is not much.

For what it's worth, if it may help anybody, I switched from the Michelin's to the Pirelli's. The Verde's were a much stiffer sidewall - which translated into lots of improvement in terms of handling and responsiveness. Also great traction in the snow and handling in the rain. But a bit noisy, and prone to flat spots (just from sitting overnight). It took 3-5 minutes of driving every morning before the flat spots would work themselves out and I had a nice and smooth ride again.
Last week I switched to the Verde plus and they are night and day quieter. I mean no comparison. Very smooth ride, and no flat spots in the morning to work out. It seems the sidewalls aren't as rigid but the handling is still good. Can't give much input on wet traction or snow traction yet however.
If I had to make the choice today, I would pick the Verde plus over the Pirelli IMHO.
