Default Dashboard Crack

Hey Guys,

Now that i got the coolant leak fixed (from the intake area) and replaced TB/WP at 80K mile/121 month (some ppl may say it's too early, but i just went ahead and did it since I plan not to keep it for more than 10 additional years), it's time to move onto my next project.

Does anyone know a shop (or mobile) to fix this in Los Angeles area? A shop i called was going to charge $200 to come into his shop or $275 for mobile service. Not sure whether this is a fair price and I don't know the guy. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Ouch! Have you tried checking the regional forums? You're bound to find a place over there and probably quicker than here. Good luck with the repair.

Make sure they have a warranty as a friend got a 4" cut fixed on his dash and it opened up again in only a few months. He paid $275 and it looked good but did not last!

Anyone notice that's a pic of the Gen 2 RX's dash?

It's ok, us Gen 3 folks will still help.

If you're a DIYer, you might want to try this. I've used it a couple times and looks very close to new.

Good luck.

Yes, there is a similar thread over at 2nd Generation from the same individual. Mods need to move this.
