Option for replacement springs?
 

What are we looking at here? Mind you I don't want to lower the vehicle but everywhere I look, the eibach, H&R, King etc all lower 1.5 inches.

Is OEM from Lexus the only real option here? I plan to change mine when I do the struts in the Spring.

Has anybody installed the lowering springs and can post pics? How much did it actually drop after 5k miles? If it's not crazy I might go that route. Maybe lowering will make it easier for our 3 year old to get in :D

The reason I think there are not more aftermarket options is that they are not a standard uniform spring. They taper as they go up so they are not uniform size and diameter and coil pitch/angle throughout.

I tried looking but OEM was all I found that was stock.

thanks - what I figured. I guess the other question is do they need to be changed. I am inclined to change them if I am already in there messing with the struts. I've got 116k miles on the Rx.

I would be more concerned about replacing the mounts and all the other bits and pieces in there instead of the coils if you are not looking to make any other changes in regards to handling. If you are happy with the way things were stock it is best not to make too many changes.

Saw where user jconst6558 installed some TTE springs and he liked the result but did not like the original ride. Not sure they are still available.

thanks for the link. I plan to change all of the other stuff, mounts, etc. I just think it may make sense to go ahead and change the coils. I may just stick with oem replacements unless others chime in with their aftermarket experiences.

Wonder if there is anything in the Toyota catalog which is a fit but for a heavier vehicle like the Highlander?
