Hi, my RX350 has about 102k miles on it and recently, after changing the battery, I might have bumped the upper radiator nipple. It resulted in coolant slowing leaking through and eventually burst which was the reason for my hood to be in smoke with the temp reading about 80-90% to the H mark. Towed the car back home. Before it popped, I was getting a P0117 code which should be for the coolant temperature sensor. I then proceeded to change the upper radiator filler neck:

Seems to work great after replacing it and filling it up with some pink Valvoline 50/50 coolant. I was expecting to see the check engine light to stay on but it mysteriously cleared itself after the fix. The gauge seems to work fine and the temp gauge seems to read accurately (just below midpoint after being warmed up). Should I still worry about the coolant temperature sensor since everything seems to be working fine?
