Default removing rx330 dash speakers

Hi,

Im new here and am from Australia.
We dont seem to have a forum like this. No wonder its called 'down under'

Trying to overhaul my ML system. The speakers seem to be torn (they vibrate). I am not happy with sounds since the ML amp seems to restrict speaker capabilities. Plus I am using an audio cable through the cassett slot for usb.

So the question is: Anyone removed the mid rages from the dash? How hard is it? Any tips? Thanks.

(planning to replace the ML system with Pioneer deh-80prs HU, audison amp and focal drivers. Thanks to you guys I am clear about the harness kit to keep factory nav and climate controls)

2003 Rx330 - factory nav, climate and of course ML system.

It should be straight forward - remove the grill and then remove a few bolts. The bolts may be difficult to access since there is not a lot of room between the dash and the window. Have some patience.

Thanks. I was thinking that I would have to reach from under the dash since I could not find any posts on taking the speakers off...
