Default Traction control light solid VSC OFF flashing

Hi everyone!

I recently changed and registered one of the TPMS sensors on my 2008 RX 350. Immediately after that the dashboard became clean with all warning lights off.

They stay off with the engine started, but just when I start moving the traction control indicator lights up and VSC off starts flashing. Otherwise the car behaves normally.

What could it be? Can it be fixed by myself?

Disconnecting the negative clamp for an hour did not help. (Check engine is also off, I'm aware of the check gas cap).

More than likely your RX is experiencing a problem which would register with the vehicle's onboard computer. Take your RX by the local auto parts store, such as Auto Zone, and see if they will plug in their computer to read the error code. Most will do this service for free. Once you have that error code you can better determine the nature of your problem by searching for details here at CL or otherwise on the internet.

Default c1336

Thanks, RX330inFL. I just consulted an electrician and his computer shows error code

C1336 ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF DECELERATION SENSOR UNDONE

Are there any instructions that I could show our mechanic?

I think I found a solution (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...c-vsc-off.html)
It says for 2001 LS you need to jump terminals 4 and 14 on the DLC3 connector (Ts and CG).

However, on a youtube video it says you need to jump 4 and 12.

So, on the 2008 RX350, which one should I jump the 4 with? 12 or 14?

From the following URL:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mai...yofone-14.html

"C1336 is showing a reset of the yaw sensor is required... Common reasons - alignment was performed, but the reset procedure was not completed properly..."

You will want to read the following:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...rol-light.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...c-vsc-off.html

Be sure you note the orientation of the OBD-II connector in relation to any diagram you look at. This is a "D" shape connection such that one side is different from the other. That orientation is important with counting off the pin numbers.

Not sure if either of the above you posted is correct or not and it seems to differ with other information found here at CL in the URLs I have provided. There is an appropriate tool the shops have to deal with this. So, I cannot recommend any of this and you would need to try on your own.
