For those of you who think 0/20 is to thin compared to a 5/30 I would say that is what you want at startup. The first number is oil when cold and the second number refers to warm temp conditions. So a 0/20 and a 5/20 are both the same once your car gets to operating temp.

what concerned me more than anything going to the 20 weight oil was the car had 5W-30 conventional for the first 59k of it`s life. I first went with the Pennzoil Platinum 5W-20 ( I`m a Pennzoil guy ) and liked the way it ran on it, but after a while the valve train got a little noisy. So went to Mobil-1 5W-30, ran pretty good on that except it was a real dog when cold. So, tried Pennzoil Conventional 5W-20 and was very impressed with how the vehicle performed on that oil. Then my last oil change I decided to go with Pennzoil Ultra after looking at the spec. it has online. Very impressive oil; Noack Volatility of only 5.0, -51c cold pour point. a very good oil and so far the RX has run the best on this oil. I would have to say it has run the best on PU, and PYB so far to date. When I say "has run the best" I mean throttle response is much better on the 20 weight, smoothness, gas millage is up slightly as well.
