First post on this forum. I have a 2004 RX 330 and the passenger air bag off light on dashboard stays lit up. Upon starting it comes on then goes off but then comes back on and stays on. I have disconnected the 5 or 6 harnesses under seat and reattached snugly. I disconnected car battery for 10 minutes and then reconnected but that didn't solve the problem. I have connected seat belt and sat in seat but that does not shut it off.
I have not tried the jumper from 4 to 13 on the dcl3 board to check code yet. Any other suggestions?

Take it to the dealer. It is too important a system to mess around with.

I would agree, with it being a major safety component just take it in.

Has anyone taken to a dealer and had this repaired and what was repaired?

I had that issue with my 2004 RX330 and the dealer performed a 15 minute recalibration that resolved the issue. I was told that if the light is on, the airbag won't deploy so it is a definite safety concern for the passenger.
