So I am about to buy an RX 2nd gen, and i love it! but i hate how i feel like i am sitting on a pedestal, or a bunch of books. I wish the seat went lower... I have test drove a few they all are the same... has anyone else remedied this or felt like this?

There is an adjustment for height. Lift the long horizontal seat switch up from the rear (vertical height adjustment). If the manual for the vehicle is available look at the photos on pages 17 -18.

Yes I know about this, thank you for your response! I am after a mod or something to make them lower. I have the electric seat control maxxed out to the lowest setting, and it just feels like I am too high...

I'm 6'4", seat lowers enough for me, wife is 5'4" and is high enough for her.
2 position seat memory is very nice, too bad no ones figured a way to motorize the rear view mirror yet lazy I guess.

I feel higher when I'm driving the RX... I feel lower when I'm driving my coupe...

i agree, i wish the seat would go another two inches lower. it feels better on my legs.

Glad someone else feels the same.... I have to decide soon too... I found a 2010 3rd gen for a good deal ,but it is still $8K more! lol... And who want's more debt? BUT they feel amazing sitting in one....

I love my RX but I too am 6'4" and wish the seats were lower. In an ideal world I would love to have the seats in my IS250 put into my RX
