Thanks to all on this thread. At least half of the LEDs weren't working on the right rear of our RX330 and I replaced the entire assembly with a Toyota OEM unit for $170 (shipped) via eBay. Three bolts (small hands help for the upper bolt) and two wiring connectors and it pops right out for replacement. Thanks to this thread. I am thinking about ordering the LED part and fixing up my old one for a spare or resale. Thanks again.
I may be wrong, but I don't think you can purchase the LED module any more. I looked into this last year when I needed to replace one in my previous 2004 RX. I ended up buying a cracked taillight with a good LED module for $50 on eBay and swapping the LEDs.

At least on eBay and a few other Lexus sites, putting in those part numbers definitely brings up available parts.
