Yeah I couldn't find anything strictly 168 either, but so far they have worked pretty good for me. I replaced my front parking lights with them about 6 months ago, and I did the license plate lights almost a month ago now and I have yet to have any problems with them.

No problem. Sorry it took so long to get the pics up.

I used PIAA bulb for reverse light too. Superbright LEDs are cool but their quality sometimes is not all that great leaving you doing house keeping with replacing led bulbs too often which drive up the cost of the mod itself.

This may be a stupid question since most people are doing this modification but why would you want your license plate more visible?

Wife's car.

I think it looks better and rarely speed driving that car as the kids are always in the back

I had all the led in, except the parking light on the rear door, next to backup light towards the driver side, it lit up on the dashboard, complaining about this bulb, new bulb some thing. It lits when the bulb is in socket, when key is turned to 'on' . But when ignition is on, dashboard light on.
What gives ?

Since this post is about reverse and backup lights, you might have been better off to start a new thread either in this section or maybe in the lighting section. I'm afraid your question about front lights might get buried in this rear lighting thread. If I were you I'd delete this post and repost on one of those two sections.

Thumbs up EasyPeasy

Even this OldFart (with the help of the right tool) was able to change out both old-tech bulbs with New-Tech LEDs in less than 30 minutes.
I only boogered up one of the white clips when putting panels back on.

Many Thanks for the thread. The photos helped tremendously!!
