did you replace the battery? did that fix the problem? i have the exact same problem.
Took the car to the dealer (Lexus of Ann Arbor) who tested it again and replaced the battery under warranty. They had to get it from a Toyota dealer as they had none in stock. This was a long time ago. No problems with the new battery. It is very small, by the way. If it goes out of warranty, I will replace with an AGM battery as thy seem better made and are long lasting. Our 2006 E320 CDI is still on its original AGM batteries. Same with our 2006 M3, also AGM.
On the other hand, the wet cell battery in my dad's Explorer lasted 10 years!
