The black antenna offends me. With my roof rack off it sticks out like a sore thumb, it really spoils the lines and looks like an afterthought. It's gotta go. I contacted Beat-Sonic about their AM_FM antenna to see if it would work with my set up. Sam was very helpful and actually found one in stock painted Lexus Crystal white 062 so I bought it. It's on the way.

I've been meaning to get back out to Car Toys and have them update the firmware and maps on my Kenwood so I can have them install the antenna at the same time. Here's some pics...

When I was at their booth I actually tried a fitting and they really don't work well being on the far right. Even their new smaller better looking one looked too odd. Maybe your install will change my mind I do like my mini antenna though.

Your mind is tricking your eye. What looks odd is that black stick on the right rear of your car but you're used to seeing it so you accept it as "unodd". Ask 100 non RX owners which looks better.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out. If you want to really want to mess with people's minds Carver, put a dummy Shark Fin on the other side.

Or you could really do it and put a third shark fin to cover the XM antenna in the middle.
