How to transfer Droid2 Global phonebook to 2007 RX350
I finally found the answer to this simple question:
How do you transfer the phonebook/contacts from a Droid2 Global to a 2007 RX350?
The answer was so simple. Go here...http://www.lexus.com/bluetooth/
This is Lexus' own Bluetooth Compatibility Tool which lets you check your phone model against your vehicle model. Once I found this tool it took just a few seconds to find the very simple instructions I've been looking for since March! Ugh...you would think Lexus' own dealers would know about this tool. Anyway, the instructions were simply written, easy to follow, and it took just one attempt to successfully upload all my contacts (300+) in less than two minutes. What more do I need to say. It worked just liked I hoped it would and success feels so good!
Transfer Phone Number(s) from Phone to Vehicle
First and most importantly...make sure your bluetooth is paired AND connected to your vehicle, then do the following:
On the Steering Wheel
1. Press the Off-Hook button
On the Navigation System
1. Select "Settings"
2. Select "Phonebook"
3. Select "Transfer Data"
4. Select desired Group
5. Select whether you wish to "Add" or "Overwrite"
On the Phone
1. Select "Contacts" from the main menu.
2. Press the "Menu" softkey.
3. Select "More"
4. Select "Share Name Cards"
5. Select any contacts you wish to transfer.
6. Select "Done"
7. Select "Share Via Bluetooth"
8. Select "Hands Free"
If phonebook transfer does not start automatically, please refer to the instructions for "Adding an Entry to the Phone Book".
Good luck. I hope this information helps you as much as it helped me.
