Will Gen3 RX350 19" wheels fit the Gen2 RX350?

Hi guys,

Looking at a set of 19" from the Gen 3... 19x7.5 +35 114.3PCD.

Currently i've got the 18" from the Gen 2.. which is 17x7 +35 114.3PCD.

Do you reckon it'll clear.. i'm guessing it'll be okay, how about caliper clearance?

Cheers

Howie

Yes they will clear, the 2RX has a pretty small 2 piston caliper design.

Thanks mike ur a champ.

Same bolt pattern and offset so it should fit. Depending on the tire size it'll look like a lifted truck if you're not lowered.

Currently the tires on the 18x7 are maxxis 235/55r18. I'm most likely going 255/50/r19 which is according to the tyre calculator less than 1% of rolling diameter of the stockies... Can anyone verify that this will work?

Yep also lowering on TTE springs next week. 30mm drop.

Nice! How about 255/45 for the tires? I think it'll look better with the lowered stance.

Howiefied 06-13-11 12:58 AM

Yep, 255/45 should be within spec.. i've seen a Kluger (Highlander) running them on 19's no problems.

P.s. Sewellparts having a close out sale on TTE Springs for the RX.. $95 bucks :)

My answer is yes, they fit. I have a brand new set of 2011 RX350 19 x 7.5" takeoff wheels with Michelin tires (235/55/19) and I just tested fitted them to our 2008 RX400h. There is about a 2-3mm clearance of the front brake calipers but they do bolt on just fine.

I will have the TPMS sensors removed from the stock 18" x 7" hybrid wheels and put on the 19" wheels in a few weeks. Can't wait!

Nice! Thanks for the info. Would you happen to have a pic of them on?

Here's a photo of my 2005 RX330 with the Gen3 RX350 19" wheels. Enjoy!

The ride is great! I drove the 2011 Rx350 loaner a few times and the ride were very similar to my 05 RX330.

Thanks Howiefied! No, I don't have a side profile photo at this time. I'll shoot a few more photos soon.
