Default so i changed my transmission oil and filter

so i just finished changing engine oil, oil filter, transmission oil and transmission filter. checked the air filter its clean ( was changed 1k ago)
changing all that was a waste of money -__- because trans oil was pure red, engine oilwas pure gold, dealer changed all that last week before i bought it and they didn't tell me. but its worth knowing that everything been changed by me and with good quality oil and its good to go,
one problem i went to Lexus dealer to buy ATF and they said drain the oil trans, and add 3.5 qrts, well noway its 3.5 because i put 4 and still i believe i need one more quart
do you think i need to put more because i changed the filter too? I've been reading and searching but it looks like you guys don't replace the filter?
im on my way to get one more quart i hope driving the car 17 miles to get it wont hurt the trans

Just a note of caution. You did use Toyota "World Standard Transmission Fluid" right? The RX330 (2006 & earlier) used a different fluid (Dextron II) that would be harmful to the RX350 (2007 - 2011) transmission.

Here is the states a CPO Lexus would have all maintenance done before delivery to the customer. It appears they do the same in Canada.

Incorrect. The RX330 uses Type IV transmission fluid.

second my memory seat isn't working when i press 1 or 2
this happens when the battery has been disconnected. Try running your seat all the way forward until it stops, then run it all the way back. Same for the seat back. Once the seat limits are set, place the seat for your fit and save it in memory. Should be okay now.

In the RX300 for instance, if you remove the filter, some additional fluid will come out. I've never measured it, but I plan to the next time I do the filter, but I would estimate it could be about 1/2 a quart

I think if I recall the front differential on the RX300 was about 1/2 a quart, too (assuming you drained the pan first).

Yes, I've peeked under my neighbor's RX330 a few times to examine changes.
