Frosted projector lens?

He is talking about the ellipsoid. How would you get to it to clean? Take the whole thing apart? Maybe the frost is from the inside. Try taking the bulb out, get a really long Q-tip, dip it in alcohol and have at it.

OK so now we know what you're talking about. It does look like it's on the outside surface of the projector. I'm not sure if there's any way to get in there without taking apart the front lens. I haven't seen the back side of the head light housing but if you can manage to get something in from there to wipe it that might be your best bet. I think this only applies to the left head light with specs on it.
On the right side head light I believe the lens itself has frosted over time, something I've noticed with some other projectors I've seen. I don't think you can remove the "frosting" that has happened.
